Hey y’all!

I’m Yolanda, and this is my lifestyle blog where I will discuss stories of my cancer experience, faith, travel, fitness, food, and…basically everything in between!

So why the name “This Exceptional Journey”? Well isn’t life really a journey?  Day after day we go through life’s roller coaster ride hoping to reach “a place”.  A place of peace, a place of happiness, a place of strength, a place of courage, a place of prosperity…although the journey will look different for me than for you, we are all traveling together!

Like so many other women who have faced breast cancer and other battles of life, mine have changed me and shaped me into who I am today. TBH, most of my life and experiences have been none I have ever seen before – we are all unique and exceptional that way. So, I thought since God has allowed me to see and experience so much in a short period of time, why not share it to encourage and empower others!! So there you have it! I am ecstatic you stopped by – stick around for a while, this could get interesting!
