Good People!!

I know, I know! It has been way too long! But I’m back like I never left! There have been some great things that have taken place since I last consistently blogged, I can’t wait to share all of them with you and even what it’s going to look like around here into the new year. Am I the only one who can’t believe it is already the end of the year? Where did 2018 go, seriously?! I feel like throughout the year it went slow, but here we are and it’s less than a month away from 2019!

Where have I been? What have I been up to? Why did I fall off the face of the earth? Well, I kinda started a podcast. Crazy, right? I still can’t believe I am 8 episodes in, it still doesn’t seem real! I contemplated starting one in the summer, and threw around the idea with a few of my close peeps just to unfold it some. I knew that blogging was a great platform for me to reach you guys, but I wanted a more personal and conversational vibe. I finally took the leap and did it! I did tons of research and learning of all things podcasting from recording and equipment to editing and directories. Who knew starting a podcast would be so tedious and time consuming? Especially since I am the talent, the sound engineer, the producer, the editor and social media team!

I am so glad that I took the leap of faith, it has been an interesting, frustrating, and mind blowing experience but overall great so far! So… here I am about 6 months out from the idea to the reality of it all. It has been a true rollercoaster ride. Starting this blog and now the podcast, were a real test of my self confidence and my ability to see a thing through. It all has been so worth it. I knew once I got the podcast off the ground I had to return to my first baby and here I am! I have some great things in store for this arm of TEJ Media (I kinda came up with that name, you will see why later down the line. *wink*

Thank you for sticking around to see this thing through with me! I don’t take for graanted the time you spend to peek into this journey I am walking day by day!
